Andrius Mamontovas is a long-time active Ukraine supporter, with whom we also co-produce Ukrainian Resistance Radio project.
“Few days after the brutal Russian invasion to Ukraine, I played the long dark drone at the protest concert in front of the Russian embassy in Vilnius. I couldn’t sing any songs or play any traditional form of music, because there’s no beautiful music for those criminals. Since that day I started recording these dark soundscapes as my reaction to the terrible war crimes and loss of innocent peoples lives in Ukraine.
